We warmly welcome you to Somtawin Witaedsuksa Huaymongkhon School. Established in 2008 by Mrs. Uma Wattanajit and located just outside of Hua Hin, we do not suffer from the traffic, noise, and pollution of an urban school. We provide a quiet, safe and holistic learning environment for your child to flourish. We have very small class sizes and provide a caring, second home atmosphere encouraging our students to be warm, attentive and engaged. With a wide variety of nationalities from all over the world, Somtawin is a local school with Thai core values and an international outlook.

Educating children from Kindergarten (3 years old) through to Grade 12 we teach a UK based curriculum within the Thai Ministry of Education’s framework and integrate elements of the Cambridge Primary and Secondary Programmes. All of our subjects are taught in English by English speaking teachers with the exception of Thai Language, which is taught for one lesson per day. In years 10, 11 and 12 your child will be able to sit the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations. The IGCSE is a globally recognized qualification that is accepted by universities throughout the world. Currently, we have 204 students (ACY 2023-24) and a very small class average of 14 students per class.
